REMNANTS

BRIEF OVERVIEW

ReMnAnTs is a project that evolved out of the graphical residuals from the Audio Units brand identity. The last year 2020 I worked alongside Ashwin B from Audio Units to create an identity system for the musical duo. The idea was to craft an identity system around the customized wordmark. During the creative process, we explored a whole bunch of design directions, where each rendition came packed with a certain personality and Visual Aesthetic. In the end, we had a handful of variations and not all of them could be used. Most of them ended up in the repository. Until the idea occurred to me why not put these into good use and create some artifacts out of them. However, I ended up designing specimens out of the graphical residuals using the assets and elements crafter for the project. There are nearly 70-80 specimens all of which are heavy on the type and share a monochromatic color palette
