DECLARATION OF DESIGN INDEPENDENCE
DESIGN SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A PRODUCT THAT CAN BE BOUGHT AND SOLD. INSTEAD, IT SHOULD BE SEEN AS A PROCESS OF CREATION THAT INVOLVES COLLABORATION AND EXPERIMENTATION.
THE DESIGNER'S UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE AND ARTISTIC VISION SHOULD BE THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THEIR WORK, NOT THE CLIENT'S WANTS OR MARKET TRENDS.
COLLABORATION BETWEEN DESIGNERS AND CLIENTS SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED. DESIGNERS SHOULD WORK WITH CLIENTS TO CREATE A MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL DESIGN SOLUTION THAT IS ALIGNED WITH THEIR GOALS.
THE PROCESS OF DESIGN IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE FINAL OUTCOME. EMPHASIZING THE DESIGN JOURNEY, EXPERIMENTATION, AND CREATIVITY IS KEY TO CREATING TRULY DISRUPTIVE DESIGNS.
DESIGNS SHOULD BE DRIVEN BY PURPOSE, NOT PROFITS. THE FOCUS SHOULD BE ON CREATING IMPACTFUL DESIGNS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE, NOT JUST DESIGNS THAT SELL.
DESIGNS SHOULD BE AUTHENTIC, NOT JUST AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. THE FOCUS SHOULD BE ON CREATING MEANINGFUL AND IMPACTFUL DESIGNS THAT STAND THE TEST OF TIME.
THE TRADITIONAL DESIGN PROCESS, WHICH IS OFTEN LINEAR AND HIERARCHICAL, SHOULD BE REJECTED. DESIGNERS SHOULD BE GIVEN THE FREEDOM TO CREATE IN A MORE FLUID AND ITERATIVE PROCESS.
PRIORITIZE THE NEEDS, EXPERIENCES, AND EMOTIONS OF END-USERS OVER THE CONSTRAINTS OF TECHNOLOGY OR BUSINESS GOALS.
USE STORYTELLING TO CREATE A POWERFUL EMOTIONAL CONNECTION WITH USERS, HELPING TO BRING YOUR DESIGNS TO LIFE.
IMPERFECTION SHOULD BE SEEN AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CREATIVE EXPRESSION, RATHER THAN A FLAW TO BE FIXED.
